Hook’s Shoe Store started in 1946 as an orthopedic shoe store for men and women founded by Arthur C Hook Sr. The philosophy at Hook’s has always been and is today quality, fit, and service where the customer always comes first. We still measure your feet.

Hook’s shoes has evolved into a full service shoe store providing dress shoes, athletic footwear, work shoes, sandals, house slippers, winter boots and a full service shoe repair in addition to the special orthopedic and prescription footwear business.

Every shoe at Hook’s shoes is individually fitted to your feet by a trained shoe fitter according to size, shape, width, and the individual biomechanical needs of the feet including gait evaluation. If customizing the footwear is needed to meet your individual needs it can be done while you wait in most cases.
